Arab League Council Commends Role of Al-Quds Committee in Supporting Holy City

The Arab League Council, meeting at the ministerial level on March 6 in Cairo, commended the role of Al-Quds Committee, under the Chairmanship of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, as well as the efforts deployed by Bayt Mal Al Quds Acharif Agency to support the Holy City.

In this regard, the report of the Secretary General of the Arab League, presented before the 161st session of the Council, shed light on the Kingdom’s additional contribution to “Al Aqsa Fund” and the “Al Quds Intifada Fund”, which amounts to $ 25 million (USD).

Morocco was represented at this meeting by a delegation led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, including Morocco’s Ambassador to Egypt, and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, Mohamed Ait Ouali.
