On Wednesday, the General Delegation for Prison Administration and Reintegration (DGAPR) reported that 92% of inmates in Moroccan prisons have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
“The vaccination campaign is underway to inoculate other unvaccinated inmates”, DGAPR pointed out in a statement.
Accordingly, as part of the national COVID-19 vaccination campaign, the DGAPR holds permanent coordination with health and administrative authorities. Not to mention that it tends to increase the number of its staff in order to extend this campaign on a large scale to all prisoners.
“In addition, the third dose vaccine will take place as soon as possible in prisons to ensure optimal protection to all inmates”, the statement concluded.
