Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Meryem chaired, Sunday at the National Library in Rabat, the inauguration ceremony of the Diplomatic Circle International Charity Bazaar, placed under the High Patronage of HM King Mohammed VI.
As part of the inauguration, Her Royal Highness visited the various bazaar stands where there are exhibitions of a wide variety of artisanal and local products from several countries.
The Charity Bazaar is an annual event organized by the Diplomatic Circle in Morocco to celebrate friendship and solidarity and support Moroccan NGOs working in favor of the most disadvantaged.
This event is the flagship activity of the Diplomatic Circle, whose members are the spouses of the Heads of Diplomatic Missions, and representatives of international organizations, accredited in Morocco.
The participants in this event come together with one aim; that is raising funds to support Moroccan NGOs working in the fields of education, health, and the development of women in rural areas, while cultivating the values of solidarity and generosity in an atmosphere of mutual respect between cultures and religions.
It should be noted that more than 30 countries representing Africa, America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, participate in this edition through their embassies, with a wide variety of products.
