HM King Mohammed VI Receives Newly Appointed Members of Constitutional Court

His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may Allah assist Him, received, on November 30 at the Royal Palace in Rabat, the newly appointed members to the Constitutional Court, per the provisions of the Constitution and the organic law of this Court, and particularly the provisions on the renewal of the third of its members.

The newly appointed members include: 

  • Mohamed Amine Benabdellah, Amina El Messaoudi, and Najib Ba Mohamed who were appointed by His Majesty the King, may Allah glorify Him. 
  • Mohamed El Kasri, member elected by the House of Representatives,
  • Mohamed Lididi, member elected by the House of Councillors.

His Majesty the King, may Allah preserve Him, has also kindly appointed Mohamed Amine Benabdellah, the new President of the Constitutional Court, to replace Said Ihrai who is unable to pursue his mission.

During this audience, Amina El Messaoudi, Najib Ba Mohamed, and Mohamed Lididi were sworn in before His Majesty the King, may Allah preserve Him, per the provisions of the Constitutional Court’s organic law.
