Moroccan referee Bouchra Karboubi and assistant referee Fatiha Jermoumi are among the referees appointed by FIFA to officiate during the Olympic Football Tournament which will take place this summer in Paris.
Referee preparation will be closely monitored before and during the Olympic Games by a team of FIFA experts, including referee trainers and video referees, match analysts, fitness trainers, and physiotherapists to offer optimal support.
Referees in both tournaments will rely on video assistance and benefit from goal-line and semi-automated offside technologies.
