Japanese media announced the death of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe of his injuries after being shot today, Friday.
The Japanese Broadcasting Corporation announced Friday morning that former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was taken to hospital bleeding after he fell while giving a speech in the city of Nara in western Japan.
The commission added that a sound like a gunshot was heard at the time, and that the authorities arrested a suspected man at the scene.
A reporter for the authority stated that two consecutive bullets were heard during Abiy’s speech.
Kyodo news agency reported that the former prime minister is unconscious and his heart appears to have stopped working.
