Minister of Transport and Logistics, Mohammed Abdeljalil, held talks, Monday in Rabat, with South Korea’s Ambassador to Morocco, Keeyong Chung, and his accompanying delegation on ways to strengthen cooperation in the field of railways.
On this occasion, the Moroccan Minister and the South Korean ambassador praised the excellent cooperation relations between the two countries, especially in the field of transport and logistics, expressing the two countries’ willingness to work together to further reinforce these relations.
During this meeting, Abdeljalil and Chung discussed the strengthening of bilateral cooperation between Morocco and South Korea in the railway industry. The two parties also examined ways to promote sustainable transportation in the two countries as well as investment in relevant infrastructure.
The South Korean diplomat extended an invitation to the Moroccan minister to conduct a working visit to South Korea to further strengthen cooperation in the mentioned fields.
Following this meeting, the two parties agreed to work closely to strengthen cooperation ties, reinforce consultations and meetings between Moroccan and South Korean experts, and invest in sustainable transport and the use of modern technologies in the fields of transport and logistics, while also benefiting from South Korea’s expertise in the field of railways.
