Twelve students were awarded during the National Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Chemistry Olympiads for the year 2022, organized from April 3 to 6 by the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports, at school of industrial management (EMINES) from the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) and the “Tamayouz” high school in Benguerir.
Student Adam El Kharraz, representing the Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, won first place in the 2022 National Mathematical Olympiad, followed by Mouad El Noua, participating on behalf of the same region, who took second rank. Completing the podium, Saad Chaairi (Guelmim-Oued Noun Region) took third place, a ministry statement said.
In physics, student Moad Al Mansori from the Rabat-Salé-Kenitra region won first place, followed by Wasel Ben Yahia from the Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, who came second, while third place was awarded to Salma Aasha from the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region.
In biology, student Imad Idris from the Casablanca-Settat region took first place on the podium, followed by Anwar El Kamrani from the Marrakech-Safi region and Sawsan Al Anki, representing the Rabat-Salé region. -Kenitra, notes the press release.
In the chemistry category, Mariam Daoui from the Marrakech-Safi region won first place, Hossam Hamimed from the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region (2nd) and Abdallah Al Hazmi from the Casablanca-Settat region came third.
These winners, adds the same source, are eligible to participate in the 2022 General Science and Technology Competition, in the scientific field in which they were crowned at the National Olympiad.
The 2022 General Science and Technology Competition is organized by the Ministry in cooperation with the Hassan II Academy of Science and Technology. It is scheduled for next July.
