Per Very High Royal Instructions, the Minister Delegate to the Head of Government, in charge of the National Defense Administration, Abdeltif Loudyi, received on April 29, in the presence of the Lieutenant General, Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), and Commander of the South Zone, the Chair of the Military Committee of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), Admiral Rob Bauer, who is on a working visit to Kingdom.
According to a press release from the National Defense Administration, this visit is part of NATO’s efforts to strengthen its partnership with the members of the Mediterranean dialogue, with the aim of assessing the regional security situation and strengthening cooperation opportunities.
During this meeting, officials discussed different aspects of cooperation between NATO and Morocco in various areas with the aim of ensuring security in the Mediterranean region, indicates the same source.
In this regard, the NATO official commended the Kingdom’s multidimensional commitment, as an important actor of stability, under the enlightened leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, in the face of the challenges threatening regional security,
The two parties also expressed their willingness to further consolidate the relations uniting Morocco and NATO.
Admiral Bauer will host a conference at the Royal College of Higher Military Education in Kenitra for the benefit of military officers under the theme “NATO Perspectives and Strategies”, revealed the press release.
