The Speaker of the Israeli Knesset, Amir Ohana, commended, on June 8 in Rabat, His Majesty King Mohammed VI’s “courageous” leadership for peace.
“Once again, I would like to take this opportunity to salute the courageous Leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI in strengthening relations between nations, establishing peace, and promoting Moroccan values,” stressed Ohana, following a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita.
In a similar context, the Israeli official noted that his meeting with Bourita focused on several subjects aimed at strengthening and consolidating relations between Morocco and Israel.
Referring to his visit to the Kingdom’s parliament, Ohana, who is of Moroccan origin, emphasized that this visit is the first of its kind in Israel’s history to the parliament of a Muslim country.
In this regard, Ohana added that this “historical” visit is not a coincidence as it reflects the Moroccan values he had inherited from his origins, his upbringing, and the environment in which he grew up.
