Gabon’s women section of Mohammed VI Foundation of African Oulema has made a donation to Libreville’s University Hospital (pediatric department), bringing smiles to children and relief to their families.
This donation mainly included wipes, bibs, boxes of milk, cereals, sugar, water pallets, chocolate, and toiletries.
“As part of its active solidarity and following the example of previous years, Mohammed VI Foundation of African Oulema was keen to offer this donation for the benefit of the University Hospital of Libreville,” said the Head of the Gabonese section, Amina Farhane Gassita, on this occasion, hoping that this noble gesture can meet the needs of the families concerned during the blessed month of Ramadan.
For his part, a senior staff member of the pediatric department, Jérémy Mitembo, welcomed this initiative which offers great comfort to “the ill children and the staff.”
Mitembo highlighted in this regard the important role of Mohammed VI Foundation of African Oulema which provides constant support to several sectors in Gabon.
“We implore Allah to grant longevity to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful,” added Mitembo, expressing his gratitude to all the authorities who have “shown support for our Hospital.”
“We would like to express our gratitude to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, for this gesture of solidarity at a time when we really need it,” said Mirabelle, mother of a child admitted to Libreville’s University Hospital, adding that this donation is well-timed.
This donation is part of the Foundation’s actions for the benefit of vulnerable populations (widows, orphans, and the elderly).
