Gabon’s Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security, and Rural Development is preparing to launch a major operation in the country’s nine provinces, to distribute fertilizers recently donated by His Majesty King Mohammed VI to Gabonese farmers.
“Logistics were put in place to transport and store the bags of fertilizer in the country’s nine provinces,” said the Gabonese ministry in a statement.
The Ministry of Agriculture noted that it organized, in partnership with OCP Group, training in fertilizer use for distribution managers and several agricultural cooperatives.
His Majesty the King handed over a donation of over 2.000 tons of fertilizers to Gabonese farmers last February in Libreville.
This donation is part of Morocco’s concern for Gabonese farmers, particularly in the current context of the global food crisis and fertilizer supply difficulties.
