His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, may Allah assist Him, accompanied by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid, and His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Ahmed, presided over a religious evening on October 25 at Mohammed V Mausoleum in Rabat to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the passing of the late His Majesty King Hassan II, may Allah surround him with His infinite mercy.
The evening featured the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and Prophetic panegyric on the Prophet Mohammed, peace and blessings be upon him.
On this occasion, the Sovereign, accompanied by HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, HRH Prince Moulay Rachid, and HRH Prince Moulay Ahmed, visited the tomb of the late His Majesty King Hassan II and prayed for the late Sovereign’s peace.
At the end of this religious evening, the attendees prayed for the repose of the late His Majesty King Hassan II and the late His Majesty King Mohammed V, imploring Allah to shower the late Sovereigns with His infinite holy mercy.
The attendees also implored the Almighty to preserve and assist His Majesty King Mohammed the Sixth and crown His various actions and initiatives in the service of His faithful people with success, imploring Allah to bless the Sovereign in the persons of HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, HRH Prince Moulay Rachid, and all the members of the illustrious Royal Family.
The religious evening was attended by the Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rachid Talbi Alami, Speaker of the House of Councilors, Enaam Mayara, His Majesty the King’s advisors, government officials, the Presidents of the constitutional bodies, senior officers of the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), representatives of the Islamic diplomatic corps accredited to Rabat, and several other civil and military officials.
