His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may Allah assist Him, offered a dinner in honor of the participants in the 10th General Assembly of the African Union of the Blind (AFUB), chaired by Her Highness Princess Lalla Lamia Essolh, President of the Alaouite Organization for the Promotion of the Blind in Morocco.
This dinner, which was held at the Palais des Hôtes in Rabat on October 30, was attended by Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rachid Talbi Alami, Speaker of the House of Councilors, Enaam Mayara, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, Minister of National Education, Preschool, and Sports, Chakib Benmoussa, Minister of Solidarity, Social Inclusion, and Family, Aawatif Hayar and President of the National Council for Human Rights (CNDH), Amina Bouayach.
The dinner was also attended by several government officials, in addition to Gabonese Minister Delegate to the Minister of Health and Social Affairs, Françoise Makaya, Senegalese Delegate General for Social Protection and National Solidarity, Aminata Sow, Cameroonian Doyen of the Diplomatic Corps and Ambassador to Morocco, Mouhamadou Youssifou, African ambassadors accredited to Rabat, delegates from the African Union of the Blind, members of the Union’s Executive Board, observers, and other senior officials.
