His Majesty King Mohammed VI has sent a message of condolences and sympathy to the family of the late Major General Hamidou Laanigri.
In this message, His Majesty the King stated that he learned with great sadness the news of the passing of retired Major General Hamidou Laanigri, imploring the Almighty to shower the deceased with His mercy.
On this painful occasion, the Sovereign expressed his heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy to the family and loved ones of the deceased following their loss, praying to Allah to grant them patience and comfort and to welcome the late Laanigri into His vast paradise.
His Majesty the King also recalled the late Laanigri’s sincere patriotism, discipline, dedication, and selflessness in the service of the supreme interests of the Homeland, while fulfilling his national duty in the different senior military and security positions he held, with an unwavering attachment to the constants and sacredness of the Nation and the Glorious Alawite Throne.
Sympathizing with the family of the late Laanigri in this ordeal, the Sovereign implored Allah to amply reward the deceased for the praiseworthy services he rendered to his homeland and accept him among the virtuous.
