Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, affirmed, on July 31, that Morocco, under the Leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of al-Quds Committee, is confident that peace is the strategic choice for resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Intervening at a video conference meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on the desecration of the Holy Quran in Sweden and Denmark, Bourita emphasized that the Kingdom supports the peace process aimed at achieving a just, lasting, and comprehensive solution enabling the brotherly Palestinian people to regain their legitimate rights and establish their independent, viable, and sovereign state, with East Al-Quds as its capital, following the two-state solution.
Minister Bourita reiterated, in a speech delivered by the Director of the Mashreq, Gulf, Arab, and Islamic Organizations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, Fouad Akhrif, the Kingdom’s rejection of all condemnable provocative acts and unilateral measures and practices targeting the occupied Palestinian territories, Al-Quds Asharif, and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The Moroccan minister emphasized that the Palestinian cause and al-Quds Asharif are and will remain the cause of His Majesty the King, the government, and all Moroccans and a primary focus of Morocco’s political, diplomatic, and humanitarian action on the ground, under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of Al-Quds Committee.
