The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates stressed, Wednesday, that Morocco strongly condemns the incursion of Israeli forces into al-Aqsa Mosque and the aggression against worshippers in the holy month of Ramadan.
The Foreign Ministry added in its statement that Morocco, whose Sovereign His Majesty King Mohammed VI chairs al-Quds Committee, urges the need to respect the legal, religious, and historical status of Al-Quds and the Holy Places and to avoid all actions and violations that could destroy all chances of achieving peace in the region.
The Ministry concluded that the Moroccan Kingdom reiterates its strong condemnation of such practices, as they only complicate and aggravate the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories and undermine efforts to ease tensions.
