The Chair of the Military Committee of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), Admiral Rob Bauer, commended on April 29 in Rabat, Morocco’s commitment to international security and its constant efforts to reform the social, political, and economic sectors.
In a statement to the press following his meeting with the Minister Delegate to the Head of Government, in charge of the National Defense Administration, Abdeltif Loudyi, Admiral Rob Bauer expressed NATO’s pride in counting Morocco “among its partners”.
In the same context, the official praised the solid and mutually beneficial relations that Morocco and the Alliance have managed to establish, thanks to the Mediterranean dialogue and the NATO cooperation program.
Morocco has participated in numerous NATO exercises, during which the Kingdom jas shared its expertise in countering terrorism and illegal migration, as well as in the field of maritime security, revealed Admiral Rob Bauer, stressing that NATO member countries share the same challenges with those in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
“Despite the difference in approaches to meeting these challenges, it is crucial to transform our diversity into strength,” noted Admiral Rob Bauer, expressing the Alliance’s desire to strengthen cooperation with the countries of the region, including Morocco.
Admiral Bauer will host a conference at the Royal College of Higher Military Education in Kenitra for the benefit of military officers under the theme “NATO Perspectives and Strategies”.
