The Palestinian Ambassador to Morocco, Jamal Al Shobaki, expressed his gratitude to the Kingdom of Morocco, under the Leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of Al-Quds Committee, for its positions in support of the rights of Palestinians.
In a statement to Maghreb Arabe Presse (MAP) on November 2, Al Shobaki stressed that Morocco “has always stood up for the rights of the Palestinian people in the international scene”, praising the communiqué of the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs which called on Israel to respect international humanitarian law and condemned the international community’s failure to end Israeli aggression against Palestinians.
The Palestinian Ambassador added that Morocco, under the Leadership of His Majesty the King, Chairman of Al-Quds Committee, stands by Palestine and supports the two-state solution, an end to the occupation, and the Arab peace initiative, commending, in this regard, “Morocco’s positive position”.
The Palestinian diplomat also stressed that Palestinians need such solidarity stances from all Arab and Islamic countries and the world’s freedom-minded people and called for an end to Israeli aggression and the opening of safe corridors for the delivery of humanitarian aid to Palestinians, recalling that Morocco was one of the first countries to send emergency humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
