The Royal Family and all Moroccans celebrate, on May 8, in happiness and joy, the 20th birthday of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, a happy event embodying the unwavering and irreversible attachment of the Moroccan people to the Glorious Alaouite Throne, guardian of the unity and stability of the Kingdom.
Born on May 8, 2003, HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan delivered his first royal speech at the Royal Military Academy in Meknes at only eight years old.
HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan got his international baccalaureate with honors in 2020 in economic and social sciences and subsequently joined Mohammed VI Polytechnic University. In recent years, His Royal Highness has made several official appearances, representing his father, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, at the regional and international levels.
On behalf of His Majesty the King, HRH Prince Moulay El Hassan launched port operations of the new Tanger Med 2 port in 2019, represented Morocco at the One Planet Summit in Paris in 2017, and inaugurated the International Exhibition and Museum of Sira Annabaouia and Islamic civilization in 2022 among other achievements.
In March 2023, HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan and HRH Prince Moulay Rachid attended the funeral of the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, the late Abdelouahed Radi, which took place at the Achouhada cemetery in Rabat.
Fluent in several languages, namely Arabic, French, English, and Spanish, His Royal Highness is always present by his father, the Sovereign, in formal representations and ceremonies.
