Oujda’s Mohammed I University (UMP) has once again stood out in the international “Shanghai Ranking” for 2022, ranking first nationally and among the world’s Top-400 in physics.
Mohammed I University (UMP) reported that it had ranked among the top 400 universities in the world (Rank 301) and first nationally in the “Physics” category, noting that this ranking crowned the efforts made by all stakeholders to promote excellence in several fields featured in the university’s development plan.
UMP stressed that this ranking is based on several criteria relating to the quality of education and establishment, published research, and success rate.
The university also explained that the success rate includes the number of Nobel Prize-winning alumni and staff, the number of highly qualified researchers, the number of articles published in Nature and Science journals, articles featured in the “Science Citation Index,” and academic performance in line with the size of the institution.
