The 6th edition of Cosmetista Expo North and West Africa: Innovations, Authenticity, and Growth kicked off on May 27, at the International Trade Fair Center (CICEC) in Casablanca, with a strong presence of Moroccan and international brands.
Cosmetista Expo, being the biggest cosmetics trade fair in Africa, is an opportunity for stakeholders and new brands to promote their products and encourage initiatives in the field of cosmetics and well-being, serving as a hub for development and a lever for new partnerships and agreements.
This year’s edition is characterized by a strong international participation, with exhibitors from Brazil, China, Turkey, the Netherlands, Italy, Egypt, South Korea, and several other countries, in addition to a significant Moroccan presence, which attests to the Kingdom’s support to innovation and the sense of initiative.
The ceremony was also marked by the presence of the President of the Casablanca-Settat Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services (CCISCS), Hassan Berkani, the Brazilian Ambassador to Morocco, Julio Glinternick Bitelli, Poland’s Ambassador to Morocco, Krzysztof Karwowski, the Strategy Management Transformation Consultant at the Casablanca-Settat Chamber of Commerce (CCISCS), Mohamed Elfane, and several other stakeholders in the field of cosmetics.
The event kicked off with a speech by Cosmetista Expo’s Director-General, Marina Sabir, who expressed her gratitude to the sponsors, organizers, exhibitors, and attendees, praising the staff who ensured the successful organization of this edition.
Sabir also extended her thanks to the ambassadors for their presence and interest in the exposition, and their support for exhibitors from their respective countries, stressing the importance of the cosmetics sector, particularly brands that promote innovation and authenticity.
In an exclusive interview with Morocco Times TV, Brazil’s Ambassador To Morocco, His Excellency Julio Glinternick Bitelli, highlighted the importance of Cosmetista in promoting Brazilian products, underlining the exposition’s role in introducing Brazilian brands to the Moroccan Market.
Bitelli also stated that Brazil’s participation in Cosmetista contributes to the already solid and friendly ties uniting Morocco and Brazil, stressing that this participation is in line with the two countries’ objectives of strengthening and diversifying bilateral cooperation.
For his part, Strategy Management Transformation Consultant at the Casablanca-Settat Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services (CCISCS), Mohamed Elfane, said that Cosmetista Expo represents a bridge between Moroccan and International businesses, adding that this exposition sheds light on innovative brands from around the world.
Elfane also underlined that this exposition promotes the cosmetics industry and strengthens its position as a significant contributor to the Kingdom’s economy, adding that Cosmetista is a platform for new partnerships and agreements.
Navigating the aisles and stands of Cosmetista Expo, visitors can explore, through a lively and welcoming atmosphere, the various products and services on display, and the innovations proposed by over 300 brands.
Underway until May 30, the 6th edition of Cosmetista Expo is spread over 2,500 m2, making it the largest African trade fair for beauty, cosmetics, and wellness that brings together exhibitors and industry leaders from Africa, Europe, Asia, and America, who operate throughout the entire value chain: finished products, raw materials, packaging, equipment, training, and distribution. The event is an opportunity for the approximately 17,000 national and international visitors expected to discover the latest international trends and innovations in terms of equipment, makeup, and wellness products.
