Director General of National Security (DGSN) and Territorial Surveillance (DGTS), Abdellatif Hammouchi, held talks, on November 28 in Vienna, with Director of the Directorate of State Security and Intelligence (DSN) of Austria, Omar Haijawi Pirchner.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of Hammouchi’s participation in the 91st session of the General Assembly of the International Criminal Police Organization, Interpol, underway until December 1 in the Austrian capital, Vienna.
During this meeting, Hammouchi and his Austrian counterpart discussed ways of strengthening cooperation between Morocco and Austria in all areas of security and mechanisms for developing cooperation to address emerging security challenges and threats.
The meeting was attended by executives and officials from the Directorate General of National Security (DGSN) and the Directorate General of Territorial Surveillance (DGST), as well as officials from the Directorate of State Protection and Intelligence (DSN) of Austria.
Hammouchi and the Moroccan delegation’s visit is part of Morocco’s commitment to strengthening international security cooperation and testifies to the Kingdom’s willingness to share its expertise in countering terrorism and organized crime with the security services of several brotherly countries and all international partners.
