The strengthening of cooperation and investment was the center of discussions, last Monday in Rabat, between the Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region, Yassir Sebbar, and a delegation of Italian businessmen, led by the president of the Federation of Workers Environment, Chemistry, Climate, Energies, Renewable Sources, Waste Research & Development and Telecommunications (F.L.A.C.E.R.S.), Vincenzo Falco.
This visit of the Italian delegation’s primary goal is to be more informed about the investment opportunities that the Rabat-Salé-Kenitra region has to offer, particularly in the fields of construction, chemicals, renewable energies, electronics and mechanical industries, waste recycling, food processing, and health.
On this occasion, Yassir Sebbar noted, on behalf of the President of the Chamber, that this meeting is an opportunity to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation and partnership between businessmen from Morocco and Italy, highlighting in this regard the efforts invested in supporting foreign investors wishing to settle in Morocco.
For his part, the Chairman of the Italian Federation provided an outline of the numerous projects that the federation has been working on in the fields of construction, chemicals, renewable energies, waste recycling, food, and health.
Falco also added that this visit aims to present the experience of the Federation in the implementation of certain projects, and to become acquainted with Morocco’s potential in the field, especially in the region of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra.
