The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, met Tuesday in Rabat, with an Estonian delegation from the Moroccan-Estonian parliamentary friendship group, currently on a visit to the Kingdom.
The chairman of the Moroccan-Estonian parliamentary friendship group, Raivo Tamm, stated that the discussions mostly focused on matters pertaining to the foreign policies of both countries..
Tamm expressed his pleasure at having had the opportunity to visit the Kingdom’s southern provinces, including Dakhla, “after a long wait”.
In a similar context, the Chairman of the delegation held several meetings in Rabat, notably focused on ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
During a meeting held Monday with the Speaker of the House of Councilors, Enaam Mayara, Tamm underlined, that the establishment of the Moroccan-Estonian parliamentary group is motivated by the desire to strengthen bilateral parliamentary cooperation, adding that Morocco is a neighbor of the European Union and that the cross-border challenges faced require the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries in order to jointly face them.
In another context, Tamm praised the historical and cultural ties uniting the two countries, during his discussions on Tuesday with the Minister of Tourism, Handicrafts and Social and Solidarity Economy, Fatim-Zahra Ammor.
