Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Hasnaa, President of Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection and Sponsor of the United Nations (UN) Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development, held talks, on June 14, at the Princely Palace of Monaco with His Serene Highness Prince Albert II, the Sovereign Prince of Monaco.
The meeting was part of HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa’s activities, in line with the third edition of the Foundations Dialogue for the Ocean Decade, which also kicked off on June 14 in the principality.
On the occasion of this meeting, Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection and Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening the exchange of expertise between the two institutions and the pooling of the “#B7arBlaPlastic” campaign of Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection and the “Beyond Plastic Med” campaign of Prince Albert 2 of Monaco Foundation.
The meeting was attended by the Moroccan Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development, and Water and Forests, Mohamed Sadiki, Secretary General of Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection, Nouzha Alaoui, the Vice-president and Managing Director of Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, Olivier Wenden, and Special Advisor to His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco on the Environment, Bernard Fautrier.
HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa had taken part on the same day in the high-level opening segment of the third edition of the Foundations Dialogue for the Ocean Decade.
