Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency launched earlier this week in al-Quds “Almassira” football tournament for the benefit of Maqdessi children.
Bringing together ten clubs from the Holy City, the tournament is supervised by the Agency’s Children for Al-Quds club in partnership with the Moroccan Cultural Center, Bayt Al-Maghrib.
In a statement issued on August 31, the Agency said that participating clubs were divided into two groups, the first two of which qualified for the semi-finals, which took place on August 29 and 30, adding that the ranking match and the final will be held on September 3.
The Agency also affirmed that the tournament is part of its 2023 summer program and reflects its interest in all social sectors in al-Quds, per the High Directives of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of al-Quds Committee.
The same source cited the children and youth sector among the social sectors it is involved in, through an annual program of activities including the rehabilitation of sports facilities in schools, the equipping of stadiums, and support for sports clubs and teams in different disciplines.
