Head of Projects at Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity, Youssef Rabouli, stated that the foundation is deploying all its logistical and human resources to help those affected by the earthquake that struck several provinces of the Kingdom on September 8.
Rabouli affirmed, in a statement to the press on the sidelines of his visit to the affected region, that in coordination with all its partners, notably the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, and local authorities, Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity has deployed all its staff and logistical resources to ensure the smooth running of the aid operation.
The official also stressed that in the province of Al Haouz, the Foundation, in coordination with the relevant authorities, is undertaking significant efforts to help approximately fifteen thousand families affected by the earthquake, by providing immediate accommodation for the population, distributing blankets and the necessary food supplies, as well as medical support by specialized teams.
Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity is working with the relevant authorities under the High Royal Directives of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may Allah assist Him, that the Sovereign has given on Saturday afternoon, September 9, at the Royal Palace in Rabat, during a working session dedicated to examining the situation following the earthquake that occurred on September 8, and caused human and material losses in several regions of the Kingdom.
