His Majesty King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolences to the family of the late Abbes Jirari, former Advisor to the Sovereign, renowned scholar, and eminent man of letters, who passed on January 20 in Rabat.
In this message, His Majesty the King stated that he with deep sadness the news of the passing of the late Abbes Jirari, imploring Allah to accept him among the virtuous and to welcome him into His vast paradise.
“On this painful occasion, We express to you and, through you, to your entire family, to your loved ones, and the family of the scholars of the Kingdom, as well as to all its admirers and students, Our deep condolences and Our sincere feelings of compassion following this cruel loss, the divine will being unstoppable, imploring to the Almighty to grant you patience and comfort,” noted the Sovereign.
The passing of the late Abbes Jirari is a great loss not only for his honorable family but also for Morocco which lost in him an exceptional academic personality recognized for the abundance of his contributions to the scientific, literary, and religious fields, added His Majesty the King, recalling, with great consideration, the great humane qualities and the sincere patriotism of the late, known among great Statesmen and eminent scholars.
The deceased was an example to follow in terms of defense of the constants and sacredness of the Nation and unwavering attachment to the Glorious Alaouite Throne, affirms the Sovereign.
His Majesty the King proceeded to recall the great respect and deep consideration that the late Jirari had among intellectuals and academicians in Morocco and in the Arab-Islamic world, as well as the intellectual integrity and the great competence which he demonstrated during the various missions with which he was entrusted, “both under the reign of Our venerated father, the late His Majesty Hassan II, may Allah surround His soul with His holy mercy, and under the orders of Our Majesty”.
“In sharing your grief for this tragic loss, We implore the Almighty to amply reward the deceased for his laudable and sincere actions in the service of his King, his Homeland, and his Religion,” added the Sovereign, imploring the Almighty to welcome the deceased into His vast paradise among the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs and the virtuous.
“Give good tidings to the patient, Who, when disaster strikes them, say, Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we shall return.” True is the word of Allah the Almighty, the message concludes.
