The city of Essaouira was named the best tourist destination in 2023 on the sidelines of the Morocco Tourism Awards.
The distinction was received by His Majesty the King’s Advisor, André Azoulay, and the President of Essaouira Tourism Council, Redwane Khanne.
This recognition is an illustration of the city’s sustained efforts to promote tourism, as well as the strategic vision of Essaouira Tourism Council.
The involvement of André Azoulay, as representative of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, illustrates the importance given by the Kingdom’s highest authorities to the development and promotion of local tourism.
