His Majesty King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolences to the family of renowned activist and sincere patriot, the late Mohamed Bensaïd Aït Idder, who passed away on February 6 in Rabat.
In this message, His Majesty the King stated that He learned with deep sadness the news of the passing of Bensaïd Aït Idder, may Allah welcome him into His vast paradise.
On this painful occasion, the Sovereign expressed his deep condolences and sincere feelings of compassion for the loss of one of the pioneers of the national resistance who dedicated his life to the fight against the French and Spanish colonizers, as well as to the defense of the Kingdom’s freedom, independence, dignity, and territorial integrity, thanks to his unwavering attachment to the Nation’s sacred values.
His Majesty the King also recalled, with great consideration and esteem, the rich and remarkable career of the deceased in the service of political activism and the defense of human rights, highlighting his numerous moral and humane qualities.
His Majesty the King implored Allah the Almighty to grant the family of the deceased patience and comfort and to amply reward the deceased for his dedication and self-sacrifice in the service of the Kingdom’s supreme interests.
