The General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) mobilized all its technical and logistical resources soon following the earthquake that struck several of the Kingdom’s provinces, to help the population affected.
As part of its national solidarity efforts, DGSN has set up two mobile catering units in Tahanaout, in the province of Al Haouz, specializing in bread-making (bakery) and equipped with ultra-modern equipment.
Part of the mobilization effort ongoing per the High Royal Directives, this initiative aims to satisfy the needs of the population for this essential food as quickly and efficiently as possible.
In this regard, the Chief Inspector and Head of the Prefectural Administrative Service at the Marrakech Police Headquarters, Abdelhak Afif, stated that “the DGSN is working on several fronts to help the victims,” underlining that “in addition to mobilizing rescue and first-aid teams, DGSN established catering units have a daily production average of 10,000 units of bread, which can vary according to the needs and demand of the population.”
