The American Senior Coordinator for Atlantic Cooperation, Jessica Lapenn, praised, Tuesday in Rabat, the role of His Majesty King Mohammed VI in the Atlantic region.
Following her talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, Lapenn told the press that Morocco plays a leading role in the Atlantic region under the wise leadership of His Majesty the King.
On this occasion, the American official recalled the holding of the first Ministerial Meeting of African Atlantic States last June in Rabat. “We are in Morocco for consultations in order to learn from Moroccan expertise in leadership in the region,” added Lapenn.
“We are working with Morocco to strengthen the potential of the Atlantic region and bring the Atlantic community together,” stated the American official.
In a similar context, Lapenn called on the Atlantic community to collaborate through consultations between countries on either side of the Atlantic.
