Governor of the Bank of Spain, Pablo Hernández de Cos, praised on October 11 in Marrakech, the “excellent and solid” cooperative relations between the Bank of Spain and Bank Al-Maghrib.
In a statement to the press on the occasion of his participation in the Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund (IMF), De Cos affirmed that “the Bank of Spain and Bank Al-Maghrib enjoy excellent and long-standing relations.”
The Spanish official also praised the “positive” cooperation linking the two institutions, which encompasses several fields, notably the economic and social fields.
“We are determined to further strengthen cooperation between the issuing institutions of the two neighboring countries,” stated De Cos, praising the “remarkable work” achieved by Bank Al-Maghrib.
Participants from around the world in the Annual meeting of the World Bank Group and International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Marrakech (October 9-15) will spend a week examining the current major issues, including financing policies, economic growth, and climate change.
This major international event is an opportunity for economic and financial decision-makers to carefully examine the advances and progress that Morocco achieved under the Enlightened Leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, in several fields.
