The Arab Theater Institute (ATI) has announced that the 13th edition of the Arab Theater Festival will be held from January 10 to 16, in Casablanca.
In a press release, the ATI noted that this edition will focus on the study of Moroccan theatrical experiences, with the participation of many Arab artists and researchers, indicating that this festival, which was already held in Rabat in 2015, will welcome around 400 Arab playwrights, and will present for a week the best of Arab theater of the years 2021 and 2022.
Quoting the Secretary General of the ATI, Ismail Abdallah, the press release underlined that the festival constitutes one of the many opportunities for cooperation between the ATI and the Kingdom of Morocco, noting that this cooperation has continued to develop year after year, thanks to the effective contribution of Moroccan playwrights in its various programs.
During this 13th edition, tribute will be paid to several Moroccan and Arab artists, as 10 works on Moroccan theater will be published as part of the ATI’s series of editions.
