Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, held talks, Monday in Rabat, with the First Deputy Speaker of Zambia’s National Assembly, Malungo Chisangano.
This meeting is part of the Zambian delegation’s working visit in the Kingdom.
Following this meeting, Chisangano, who leads a large parliamentary delegation to Morocco, expressed, in a statement to the press, Zambia’s willingness to strengthen and expand cooperation with the Kingdom and “to implement joint projects between the two countries.”
For his part, member of the Zambian delegation, Mulambo Hamakuni Haimbe, noted that these discussions reflect new phases of cooperation, describing these talks “as a means for Zambia’s citizens to explore the Moroccan culture.”
Haimbe also added that Morocco and Zambia can expand their cooperation in several sectors, particularly industry.
In a similar context, Haimbe noted that the Zambian delegation held high-level talks with the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rachid Talbi Alami, as well as the Speaker of the House of Councilors, Enaam Mayara.
