Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch represents His Majesty King Mohammed VI at the work of the United States-Africa Leaders’ Summit, which is being held from December 13 to 15 in Washington.
This summit, which brings together representatives and civil society actors from Africa and the United States, includes several meetings and thematic sessions covering various topics.
According to the US State Department, this conclave is based on common values aimed at better promoting a new economic dynamic, strengthening commitment between the US and Africa, working collaboratively to strengthen regional and global health, promoting food security, and responding to the current climate crisis.
Also on the agenda of the summit is a business forum where African and American private sectors will come together to discuss various topics related to trade, energy, and infrastructure.
