His Majesty King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolences to the family of the late publisher Abdelkader Retnani, who passed away on the night of November 13.
In His message, His Majesty the King affirmed that he learned with deep sorrow the news of the passing of Abdelkader Retnani, may Allah surround him with His Holy mercy and welcome him into His vast paradise.
On this painful occasion, the Sovereign expressed to the family members of the deceased, and through them to the late’s cultural and sporting family, His heartfelt condolences following this loss.
His Majesty the King also recalled the late Retnani’s patriotism and strong attachment to enriching the national cultural scene by overseeing the editing and publication of several quality books and encyclopedias, particularly those related to the national heritage and Moroccan civilization, in addition to his contribution to promoting football, as one of the leaders and directors of pioneering clubs.
Expressing his heartfelt sympathy with the members of the late Retnani’s family in this painful ordeal, His Majesty the King implored the Almighty to grant them patience and comfort and amply reward the deceased for his good actions in the service of his country and welcome him among the virtuous.
