His Majesty King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolences and sympathy to the family of the late Mohamed Lahbabi.
In this message, His Majesty the King stated that he learned with sadness the news of the passing of the late professor emeritus in economics, Mohamed Lahbabi, imploring Allah to welcome the deceased in His vast paradise.
On this painful occasion, His Majesty the King expressed his heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy to the family and loved ones of the deceased and to the late’s national political family, particularly the Socialist Union of Popular Forces (USFP), his big academic family, and his friends and admirers, following the passing of a great figure renowned for humane qualities, his strong commitment to national principles and values, and rich scientific and intellectual contributions in the economic and political fields, in addition to his firm devotion to the defense of the supreme interests of the Motherland and the constants of the Nation.
Sympathizing with the deceased’s family members in this painful ordeal, His Majesty the King implored Allah to grant the family of the deceased patience and comfort, reward the deceased for the praiseworthy services he rendered to his country, and surround him with His infinite mercy.
