His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may Allah assist Him, addressed a message of thanks and gratitude to the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Rishi Sunak, following the participation of a British search and rescue team from his country in the relief efforts following the September 8 earthquake.
In this message, His Majesty the King expressed, on behalf of all Moroccans, His deep gratitude for the noble humanitarian and supportive stance taken by the British Government toward Morocco, following the tragic earthquake that struck Al Haouz region.
The Sovereign also conveyed to the British PM His most sincere thanks and appreciation for the effective and efficient participation of the UK International Search and Rescue Team in the search and rescue operations in the affected areas.
HM King Mohammed VI noted that this contribution is a testament to the relations of solid friendship, fruitful cooperation, and unwavering solidarity uniting the two countries, as well as the two populations’ attachment to the values of solidarity, empathy, and mutual assistance.
