HM King Mohammed VI, may Allah assist him, sent a message of gratitude to the Acting Prime Minister of the Spanish government, Pedro Sanchez, following the participation of a contingent of the Spanish Military Emergency Unit (UME) in the search and rescue efforts deployed following the violent earthquake that struck Al Haouz region.
In this message, His Majesty the King expressed, on His behalf and on behalf of the Moroccan people, His deep gratitude and heartfelt thanks to Sanchez and the members of the Spanish government, for their “great support to the Kingdom of Morocco, following the violent earthquake that struck Al Haouz region on September 8.”
The Sovereign also praised the sincere solidarity shown by the brotherly Kingdom of Spain, His Majesty King Felipe VI, the Spanish government, and all Spanish people, towards Morocco, which was clearly reflected through the participation of the contingent of the Spanish Military Emergency Unit (UME) in search and rescue operations in the affected areas, with nobility, abnegation, and efficiency and in perfect synergy and cohesion with Moroccan teams.
