HRH Prince Moulay Rachid Chairs Dinner Offered by HM King Mohammed VI on Occasion of Official Launch of 20th FIFM

His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid, President of the Marrakech International Film Festival (FIFM) Foundation, chaired, on November 25, a dinner offered by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may Allah assist Him, on the occasion of the official launch of the 20th edition of the Marrakech International Film Festival. 

Upon his arrival to the Palais des Congrès in Marrakech, HRH Prince Moulay Rachid reviewed a detachment by the Royal Guard that paid him tribute and was then greeted by the Minister of Economy and Finance, Nadia Fettah, Minister of Tourism, Handicrafts, and Social and Solidarity Economy, Fatim-Zahra Ammor, and Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication, Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid. 

His Royal Highness was then greeted by the Wali of the Marrakech-Safi region and governor of the Marrakech prefecture, Farid Chourak, President of the Marrakech-Safi region, Samir Goudar, President of the Marrakech prefectural Council, Jamila Afif, and President of the Mechouar-Kasbah commune Council, Abderrahmane Ouafa.

HRH Prince Moulay Rachid was also greeted by the delegate Vice-president of the Marrakech International Film Festival Foundation (FIFM), Faïçal Laraïchi, Advisor to the President of the Festival, Mélita Toscan Du Plantier, the Financial Advisor to the President within the Marrakech International Film Festival Foundation (FIFM), Azeddine Benmoussa, the Artistic Director of the Festival, Rémi Bonhomme, the Festival’s General Secretary, Fadwa Megzari, General Treasurer, Naoufel Mohamed Bensouda, and General Coordinator, Ali Hajji.

His Royal Highness was then introduced to the jury and foreign celebrities and nationals partners. 

Organized under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the 20th Marrakech International Film Festival (FIFM) kicked off on November 24 at the Palais des Congrès in the Ochre City, with the participation of eminent figures and celebrities from the world of cinema, art, culture, and the media, both from Morocco and abroad.
