Morocco will participate in the Arab Kickboxing Championships, scheduled to take place between September 6 and 10 in Sulaymaniyah, Iraq.
According to the Royal Moroccan Federation of Kickboxing, Muaythai, Savate, and similar sports, the Kingdom will be represented by Mouhcine Boufar (-54 kg), Zakaria Jamal (-57 kg), Mourad Bouharma Laaroussi (-67 kg), Hamza Ahmidach (-63,5 kg), Merouane Diouri (-71 kg), and Mohamed Krafes (-81 kg), who will take part in the full-contact and K-1 events.
In preparation for the event, the Moroccan team recently took part in a closed-door training session at Moulay Rachid’s Royal Institute for the Training of Youth and Sports Officials in Salé.
The Moroccan delegation to this championship is led by International Referee Fettah Houssine and includes national coach Lahcen Ouassou and assistant Houssine Zahidi, as well as Doctor Ibrahim Ait Nasser.
