Minister of Transport and Logistics, Mohamed Abdeljalil, held a meeting in Munich, with his German counterpart, Volker Wissing, on the progress and prospects of transport cooperation between the two countries.
Following this meeting, which took place on the sidelines of the E-fuels Conference 2023, the two sides examined the framework for bilateral cooperation in several sectors and discussed the organization of a second Morocco-German transport workshop in Morocco in 2024, similar to the one held in May 2023 in Berlin.
The two parties also praised the technical work carried out by the working groups, particularly in the rail and road transport fields, and called for other sectors to follow.
It should be recalled that the Moroccan minister is representing Morocco at the “IAA Mobility 2023” trade fair in Munich, which kicked off on September 5.
The opening of the fair, underway until September 10, was attended by the German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, the German Federal Minister for Digital Affairs and Transport, Volker Wissing, in addition to other European ministers and officials.
The opening event shed light on future mobility trends worldwide, as well as sustainable technological and technical advances in the transport sector.
On this occasion, Abdeljalil visited the different stands of international operators and manufacturers in the automotive sector, to explore the latest technological and digital developments in the sector worldwide.
