The Palestinian cause was discussed during a press briefing held on Thursday, May 11, following the Government Council.
Referring to the latest developments in Palestine, the Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of Relations with Parliament, Government spokesman, Mustapha Baitas stated that the position of the Moroccan Kingdom has always been “clear and constant.”
In this context, the Government’s Spokesman highlighted the initiatives launched by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Bayt Mal al-Quds Asharif Agency to support the Palestinian cause and to preserve the Holy City and the legitimate rights of Palestinians.
Baitas also recalled that Morocco’s position was recently reiterated at the Arab League (AL) Council meeting, which was held on May 7 in Cairo.
