The World Poetry Festival will take place from April 26 to 28 in Marrakech, at the initiative of the House of Poetry in Morocco, the Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication, Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO), and the City Council.
Held as part of the celebration of Marrakech, the Capital of Culture in the Islamic World for 2024, the festival will see the participation of poets from Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan, Egypt, Turkey, Bahrain, Senegal, Tunisia, Bangladesh, Mauritania, Yemen, Mali, Djibouti, and Morocco.
The program of this event, organized under the slogan “Marrakech, renewed poetry”, will include several cultural, artistic, social and educational activities, including five poetry evenings accompanied by traditional musical sequences.
