Morocco’s Ambassador to Albania, Youssef Balla, and the Albanian Minister of European and Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, held talks on ways of strengthening relations between the two countries.
During the meeting, the Albanian minister commended Morocco’s political stability and economic growth, praising the excellent bilateral relations between the two countries.
Hasani also reiterated the importance of giving a strong impetus to Morocco-Albania relations, through the exploration of new cooperation prospects, notably in trade, renewable energies, and greater naval and air connectivity.
For his part, Balla praised Albania’s role in the Security Council (SC), which has led to actions and initiatives that have contributed to strengthening peace and security in the world.
The Moroccan diplomat noted that the two countries must expand their scope of cooperation, particularly in terms of investment promotion, stressing that the Kingdom is ideally positioned as a gateway to Africa for Albanian business expansion.
The Moroccan ambassador also emphasized the importance of strengthening academic and scientific cooperation and intensifying the exchange of expertise in countering illegal migration.
