The Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares, praised, on April 24, the “excellent” relations between Morocco and Spain.
“Our excellent relations with Morocco are beneficial for both countries,” stated Albares before the Spanish Congress of Deputies during a debate on foreign policy.
In the same context, the Spanish official revealed that bilateral cooperation covers several areas, including countering terrorism and human trafficking, as well as the sustained development of economic relations.
Albares noted, in this regard, the development of trade between the two countries and the number of Spanish companies established in the Kingdom.
The foreign minister also shed light on the human ties uniting the two countries, recalling that around 14,000 Spanish nationals live in Morocco, while more than a million Moroccans reside in Spain.
