Weather Forecast: Strong Wind Gusts Expected on January 17 in Several Moroccan Provinces

Strong gusts of wind ranging between 70 to 95 km per hour, with localized blowing dust, are expected on Wednesday, January 17, in several of the Kingdom’s provinces. 

In a special orange alert bulletin from the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM), these gusts, which are forecast Wednesday, starting from midnight to 10 p.m., will be witnessed in Al Hoceima, Chefchaouen, Tétouan, and Chichaoua.

The provinces of Fahs-Anjra, M’diq-Fnideq, Guercif, Boulemane, Taza, Al Haouz, Ouarzazate, Sefrou, Ifrane, Nador, Oujda-Angad, Berkane, Driouch and Tangier-Assilah will also be affected by these gusts of wind, the same day from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
