His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may Allah assist him, met on Wednesday, at the Presidential Palace in Libreville, His Excellency the President of the Gabonese Republic, Ali Bongo Ondimba.
This meeting, later attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, Minister Delegate to the Gabonese Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yolande Nyonda, and Secretary General of the Gabonese Presidency, Jean-Yves Teale, was an opportunity to stress the importance of the deep and strong relations between Morocco and Gabon and the strong bonds of solidarity between the two peoples.
His Majesty the King and the President of Gabon discussed, during this meeting, the status of cooperation between the two countries in all fields.
The Sovereign also donated, on this occasion, 2,000 tons of fertilizers in the presence of the President of the Republic of Gabon, as a part of the Moroccan Kingdom’s concern for Gabonese farmers, especially given the current global food crisis.
In accordance with the High Royal Instructions, a structural action will be carried out following this operation, with the aim of allowing Gabonese farmers to have access to affordable quality fertilizers, specifically adapted to the needs of the country’s soils and crops.
